If there is one thing Chaser is quickly become associated with, it is attending events involving scantily-clad women. It’s not that we want to be there, in the change rooms, taking photos, posing, bending and shaping these women, it’s that we keep getting invited to these things, and we are too weak-willed to say ‘no’.

That, and you people keep begging for more photos. Ask and ye shall receive.

Without a doubt, the Lingerie contest held at Burlington Ontario’s Philthy McNasty’s was the best event Chaser has attended yet. With our now standard VIP access and indomitable will, we hit the dirt (okay, the floor of the bar, and the stage, and because of excessive alcohol consumption, the urinals… and more often then not, the wall around the urinals) and celebrating our media-god status, once again got you the goods.

And no doubt about it, this contest featured the best looking women yet. Which says a lot, based on how well received the first two were here at Chaser.

The house was packed to see the lovely ladies, in our group were the usual suspects, Chris, James and Kyle, but this time we also dragged along Jakub Wojnarowicz, the Games Editor from Firing Squad. Also in attendance were several Rush readers, which we very much appreciated considering the snow storm and generally terrible driving conditions, and a couple of girls James alleges he dated in high-school. With absolutely no one in the bar paying attention to the final of the men’s NCAA tournament, the contest got under way.

The first round was a teaser, which we’ve grown accustomed to by now. That said, we grew very anxious when we saw just how hot the girls looked in street clothes, and the crowd agreed as they called for more (or less, I suppose).

Bring out the skivvies!

Shista! These ain’t your Grandma’s panties! (Thank Christ). As the girls paraded the first of the lingerie outfits in round two, men everywhere quickly scrambled for a pen and a loose piece of paper to write down the name of the supplier, La Femenique Lingerie and Swimwear, so they could buy the same things for their own special someone. The room became uncomfortably hot, and somewhat mercifully the girls filed off stage to get changed for round three, and let the crowd cool down a bit.

Not before we snuck into their change room (okay, not so much snuck as it was being invited into) and snapped a shit load of behind the scenes pictures that only Rush can continually bring to you.

After the second round of tantalizing lingerie action, the judges ended the evening in a deadlock between Suzanne and Melanie. In a close run-off vote Suzanne squeaked out the victory and won a number of great prizes, not the least of which, bragging rights as Philthy’s Lingerie Champion.

And with the contest over, we headed back to changing area being the troopers we are, and got back to work….
