Page 2 of 2 1. John Madden – I know; the guy’s annoying as hell, does ACE Hardware commercials; moreover, he isn’t even hot, but I needed some filler. He basically gets his spot here for being the name behind the greatest football gaming franchise ever, EA Sports’ Madden NFL. Actually, that’s a lie, it’s all about Tecmo Super Bowl, but Madden 2002 is quite a bit of fun too.Further, on the topic of video games, I’ve been playing a lot of NBA Showtime: NBA on NBC on the Sega Dreamcast. It’s one of the later updates of NBA Jam, which I have a lot of experience playing on the Sega Genesis (You want ROMs.). Now I bring this up for two reasons, the first is because the game has the NBA on NBC “Da-da-da-da-da da-da-da” theme song playing throughout; you know the one, you can find it for download here. What most people don’t know is that John Tesh composed the song, and of course if you watched Conan O’Brien recently, you’d know this. Second, among the special characters and features of the game such as big heads and playing as a mascot, you can also play as Kerri Hoskins and Lia Montelongo. Those of us who are less cultured may not recognize such names as being the babe models behind the Mortal Kombat series.
